I have enjoyed being the one behind the lens capturing birthday parties, weddings, graduations, and social gatherings. It’s can be a great feeling looking through photos and having them tell a story about the time you saw that Snowy Owl or experienced the most amazing sunset with your significant other. These are the candid shots that we often miss at a gathering.

Grant or Proposal Writing, Reporting & Administering

Working on a business proposal and need an extra set of eyes or wanting to find a way to expand your business and want assistance with grant writing. Securing a grant can make an impact for your Northern Minnesota business. Grant funding allows for a variety of opportunities including expansion, equipment purchase, and project expenses – overall making a bigger impact.

I have had the opportunity to be involved and a part of a variety of grants:

• $43.5 Million Federal Stimulus Funding to create a fiber optic backbone in eight counties in Northeastern Minnesota. The project connected 300 critical service sites to broadband.
• $4.35 Million State Funded Border to Border Broadband project that expanded broadband to rural town halls and fire halls and provided middle-mile fiber to Frontier Communications impacting more than 877 households.
• Grant to coordinate a regional hospitality study to evaluate the need for hotel and convention space in Northern Minnesota.
• $150,000 in Blandin Broadband Funding in the Quad Cities region for technology projects.
